The Hornet-DS is a SHOEI helmet that is designed for use on all terrains. It unites the advantages of a full face helmet with those of an off road helmet.That means first-rate enjoyment both on and off the road. SHOEI's Hornet-DS is the perfect symbiosis of design and function.

The removable visor shield doesn't just look fantastic, it also ensures perfect aerodynamics and keeps the rider's face safe from flying dirt on off-road terrain. The wedge-shape design reduces drag especially at high speeds. It diverts the airstream to the back of the helmet which reduces wind pressure.

A rival to the Arai Tour-X at a lower price from a helmet manufacturer that does not skimp on quality and safety features.
Designed for the adventure touring and dual sport market, the Shoei Hornet DS Helmet can be used in three configurations: with visor and shield, with just shield, or with just visor.
  • A wide, 3-dimensionally curved shield completely seals against the eyeport beading.
  • Lightweight (1.43kg), Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus (AIM+) shell in 4 sizes.
  • Visor includes a front air intake to channel air into top of helmet.
  • Visor system is adjustable through 4 positions.
  • Shutter behind nose cover directs air flow to clear shield fogging.
  • Fully removable 3-D interior, with 5-layer cheek pads that are channeled for eyeglasses.
